Overcome Evening Cravings

This tip was submitted by Linda from California: “I used to have a hard time sticking to my diet in the evenings because all I wanted to do was eat! Now, I make sure I have interesting projects that keep me busy in the evenings. Every week I plan something new. I’ve done needle craft, painted and decoupaged a little table, and started a memory book with old photos that I hadn’t gotten around to putting in albums. I recently started putting together a 1,000 piece puzzle that I set up on a folding card table. I’m planning to investigate my family tree on the internet, make holiday decorations (I might take some craft classes), make birdhouses, and oh so many things! If you have children, they can get involved in these projects also. Staying busy with these projects has definitely saved my diet, and helped me discover new interests too!”
