During the Weight Loss phase of the Lean for Life program, the daily Menu Plan consists of approximately 20-30 grams of fat per day. During the Lifetime Maintenance phase, the daily fat intake is closer to 40-50 grams.
The Lean for Life Weight Loss phase Menu Plan is low in fat and cholesterol. Most Lean for Life participants experience a significant improvement in their cholesterol levels simply by following the program correctly and losing to a healthy weight. After that, maintaining a healthy weight, following a healthy diet and participating in regular physical activity helps to keep cholesterol at a healthy level.
