- 1. Think of a word that has powerful meaning to you…preferably 5 letters or less.
- 2. Then take each letter of the word and write a powerful sentence for each of those letters.
For example, my powerful word for the coming week is LOVE and my meaningful phrases are:
Listen to what my food cravings are telling me (am I feeling lonely, angry, bored, stressed, tired?).
Open myself to healthy ways of meeting my needs.
Value myself and recognize my ability to succeed.
Experience my emotions instead of “stuffing” them.
This is a wonderful affirmation tool, and it’s fun to come up with a new word and phrases every week!
