Prevent adult weight gain

The average adult normally gains about 2 pounds a year even if they do not increase their caloric intake. If you don’t take action to prevent this, you may end up 20 pounds heavier in 10 years! The good news is that most individuals need only eliminate about 100 calories from their daily diet in order to control this weight gain. You can do this by cutting out one slice of bread that you would normally eat, or one pat of butter or margarine, or eight ounces of cola, and cut back on sweets and high fat foods.
