Allow yourself to set aside ten minutes today for meditating on your loving relationships. When you are alone and free of distractions, close your eyes, let go of any bodily tension you may be feeling, and envision yourself as the hub, or center, of a wheel. Spaced along the circumference of the wheel are people with whom you feel especially close and connected. You are connected to each of them by a line, or spoke, that connects from you in the center to each of them along the edge of the circle. As you draw an imaginary line from yourself to each person, take time to see each of them in your mind’s eye. Let yourself feel how much you love and appreciate each of these people, and the value you place on the invisible lines of connection that hold you together.
